PLI (Powerlift Industries) is a Karratha, Pilbara based leading service provider in the Mining and Resource industries and an expanding business.

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Crane Operators for an immediate start on an 8:6 Roster with Tier One client Rio Tinto.

THE OPPORTUNITY

PLI is seeking experienced Crane Operators to join the team on a permanent 8:6 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth or local to Karratha and the surrounding areas.

About You

  • Min 3 years’ experience in XCNG, Liebherr, Tadano and Grove All Terrain Cranes
  • Min 3 years mine site experience will be highly regarded
  • Able to Work Autonomously as well in a team
  • Able to follow instructions and show initiative
  • Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are met for the yard and its employees
  • Focused on maintaining a clean and safe working environment as well as continuous improvement and conducting all work in accordance with quality and ISO standards.
  • Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process

Requirements

  • Proof of Right to work in Australia (mandatory)
  • Current and Valid Australian (HR) Drivers Licence (mandatory)
  • Valid High Risk Work Licence (mandatory)
  • Minimum RI and CO qualification (mandatory)
  • RTIO Inducted (highly desirable)
  • MSIC (desirable)
  • WAH (mandatory)
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Excellent attitude to safety
  • Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
  • Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
