The Opportunity
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity based out of a client site in the Bowen Basin.
The Core Responsibilities For This Position Are
Shift: 7 days on and 7 days off, Thursday to Wednesday, day shift only.
Remuneration: Approximate salary of $165,000 per year, plus fleet vehicle, bonus and paid accommodation.

The Core Responsibilities For This Position Are
- Look at ways to maximise Komatsu equipment’s availability, reliability and productivity
- Providing technical support, diagnostics and troubleshooting for Komatsu fleet
- Reporting on regular machine issues
- Creating detailed technical documentation and providing recommendations / resolutions for equipment performance issues

- Must have your Cert III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) & QLD Electrical License
- Experience working as a Field Service Technician is preferred with exposure to breakdown, repairs and diagnostics
- Previous experience working in a mine-site is preferred
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical drawings.
- An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle management.
- Ability to analyse / troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical and electrical technical problems and provide solutions.
- Current driver's license
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised.
