What You'll Be Doing
Remuneration: $131831.77 - $135383.04 (+ superannuation + salary packaging options)
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Broken Hill Health Service Pharmacy department.
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams to improve clinical services and patient outcomes.
- Supervision and development of pharmacists, interns and pharmacy technicians.
- Growing our service to improve care across the district.
- Quality improvement activities, in collaboration with the District Director of Pharmacy.
- Work-life balance: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm and no weekends. Part-time requests also considered (30+ hours per week)
- 5 Weeks Annual Leave per year

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria:
- Bachelor or Masters of Pharmacy (or overseas equivalent) with current unrestricted registration as a pharmacist with APRHA.
- Relevant clinical experience within a hospital pharmacy (or will consider expanded scope of practice experience from community pharmacy) .
- Experience supervising staff and managing a service/team.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in quality improvement programs.
