ISM Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in Rockhampton. As a Speech Pathologist with us, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapy interventions to achieve client-specific goals.
  • Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and holistic treatment approaches.
  • Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers regarding speech pathology interventions and strategies.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or eligibility for registration.
  • Proven clinical experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders across various age groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current practices in speech pathology.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant therapeutic techniques and technologies in speech pathology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
