The Role
Are you a Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation Consultant looking for a fulfilling career? Whether you prefer full-time or part-time work, your clinical expertise will be invaluable in guiding clients back to work and life after physical or psychological injury. You'll play a crucial role in their recovery journey, using a holistic approach to achieve their goals.
The work day
- Functional Capacity Evaluations: Assess clients' abilities to help them reach their return-to-work objectives.
- Worksite Assessments: Identify suitable duties for clients to support their short-term and long-term goals.
- Collaborative Care: Work with other health practitioners through case conferencing.
- Rehabilitation Activities: Organize activities like Pilates and Hydrotherapy to aid recovery.
- Medical Report Analysis: Review and interpret medical reports (e.g., MRIs, X-Rays).
- Flexibility and Autonomy: Set your own schedule and manage your diary to achieve effective client outcomes through various means such as teleconferences, employer visits, and client meetings.
