Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
Being a global organisation managing 13,000 fleet and machinery, we need to ensure that all these machines are efficient and safe for use. The Equipment team is responsible for fleet acquisitions, fleet management, international maintenance and continuous improvement so that Toll can continue to provide service quality.
Fleet Maintenance Manager – Wacol QLD
Job Description / The Role –
Toll Group are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Fleet Management division in Wacol. This role involves managing vehicle service and maintenance activities within our internal Toll network and managing the external providers, ensuring high levels of compliance and minimal downtime. You will liaise with various stakeholders, including third-party maintenance vendors, Toll fleet managers, and business representatives, to develop and lead a motivated and capable team focused on service excellence.

You will liaise with various stakeholders, including third-party maintenance vendors, Toll fleet managers, and business representatives, to develop and lead a motivated and capable team focused on service excellence.

- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with HSE responsibilities and achieving KPIs.
- Service Coordination: Lead the team to plan and manage vehicle service bookings, prioritise tasks to meet compliance KPIs, and ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with internal customers and external suppliers to maintain high levels of service compliance.
- Warranty Management: Use data analytics to monitor vehicles for potential warranty claims and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- Compliance: Minimise overdue servicing and drive compliance outcomes within the customer portfolio.
- Vendor Liaison: Coach the team to manage repair costs with vendors, ensuring timely and quality completion of services.
- Cost Control: Drive year on year cost reduction and benefits wo the business.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with at least 12 months as a manager, with strong leadership and team development abilities.
- Strong understanding of heavy vehicle repairs, maintenance and fleet activities.
- Proactive attitude towards OH&S and proven planning and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
