Your impact

We are seeking a Project Manager – Wind Power to join our Power Generation Team, collaborating with highly experienced engineers, designers, and project managers across local, interstate, and APAC-wide operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the energy transition and renewable energy sector, delivering high-quality solutions and driving sustainable outcomes. If you’re a technically minded individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for renewable energy, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and project controls personnel, to deliver outstanding project outcomes.
  • Manage concept and feasibility studies, including cost estimating and scheduling for wind power projects.
  • Oversee detailed designs and provide support during construction and commissioning phases of wind power projects.
  • Drive a strong safety culture and implement QA procedures on major projects.
  • Manage commercial aspects such as contracts, timelines, costs, and change management while ensuring project governance and financial performance.
  • Act as an Owner's Engineer or client representative when required.
  • Foster business development, including proposal creation and maintaining client relationships.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to resource optimisation through integrated delivery teams.

Here's what you'll need

  • A relevant Engineering qualification and further studies in project management are highly regarded.
  • 10+ years of experience in design, engineering, or project management, with a strong focus on wind power projects.
  • Proven track record in delivering wind projects from initial bids to completion.
  • Expertise in project life cycle processes, including approval gates for major capital projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in HSE requirements and leadership in safety for internal teams and contractors.
  • Demonstrated versatility across engineering disciplines (HV electrical, civil, mechanical, and structural).
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and adaptability across various project phases.
  • A proactive self-starter with a commitment to quality delivery.
