This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

The Opportunity

Role

This is a generalist business support consultative role requiring a capability to understand and apply business policies and procedures and support services within an executive office environment. Across a range of activities, the successful candidate will be engaged to:

  • Assist with overall administrative and operational functions of the unit including operational HR activities, correspondence and asset management.
  • Update of existing internal SharePoint pages across the Portfolio Investment and Performance portfolio.
  • Coordination of process and documentation required for new asset acquisition, disposal, replacement and management.
  • Document and map business processes in a comprehensive and detailed manner, clearly outlining procedures, workflow, and interdependencies to optimise efficiency and enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the operation and supervision of day-to-day business activities, providing recommendations for effective strategies to manage and improve corporate services functions and processes within the unit.
  • Assist with system set up and induction for new staff where required.


About You

To be successful in the Senior Corporate Services Officer role, we are seeking candidates with:

  • Exceptional administration skills. You are highly organised and maintain strong standards of attention to detail.
  • You have well-developed communication skills and pride yourself on providing professional client service. You use your influencing powers to promote integrity; making sure our staff are compliant, regardless of their role in the organisation whilst establishing and preserving positive working relationships.
  • Ideally you will have intermediate skills in MS Excel, Outlook and Word with SharePoint being a bonus.
