About The Division
The Operations Division manages the effective delivery of QRA managed funding programs, including responsibility for overseeing the joint State and Commonwealth Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and resilience funded projects by State and Local Government agencies and Non-Government Organisation's.

The Program Delivery Office monitors and reports on program delivery, analyses performance and continuously seeks the business intelligence that ensures benchmarking and estimated reconstruction costs remain on track and the division's work is prioritised to maximise its return on effort.

About The Role
This role will be responsible for monitoring DRF project delivery, ensuring compliance with Commonwealth reporting requirements, coordinating funding applications, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Track and oversee the delivery of DRF-funded projects to ensure compliance with timelines, budgets, and objectives.
- Identify risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Verify and process applicant monthly progress and payment claims in accordance with governance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all Commonwealth reporting obligations, including Quarterly Reports, Variation Forms, Implementation Plans, and Acquittal Reports.
- Support the preparation and submission of ad-hoc reporting requests from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
- Identify, assess, and manage emerging risks related to DRF projects.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as the key liaison between project stakeholders, including internal teams, funding recipients, and external agencies.
- Provide guidance and support on funding applications, project implementation, and compliance requirements.
- Establish and maintain a system for tracking project performance, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
- Support governance processes and policy compliance to align with organisational and funding requirements.
- Represent QRA or the Director at stakeholder meetings and events with relevant industry and community organisations and incorporate learnings into team and divisional planning.
- Lead and model highly collaborative internal relationships through the sharing of knowledge, experience and reflections as part of a wider team of multi-disciplinary specialists.
- The role reports to the Director, Program Delivery Office.
