Jacobs is seeking talented Senior Civil Designers to join our dynamic Roads and Highways teams based in Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane to support our growing portfolio of projects.
The roles will suit technical specialists with experience in the planning and design of transport infrastructure within a multidisciplinary team environment. With a focus on digital delivery, you will adopt BIM workflows and practices to work collaboratively with project leads and other technical experts to develop sustainable solutions for our clients.
You will inspire, mentor and develop teams to become proficient in the technical standards and digital requirements for delivering projects for the Queensland Roads and Highways business.

Here's what you'll need
- Tertiary qualification equivalent to Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
- a demonstrated understanding of transport planning and design processes, in particular Qld Department of Transport and Main Roads;
- a strong track record in the co-ordination of work with other design disciplines to efficiently deliver projects within budget, program and quality constraints;
- high level design (12D) and CAD skills, with a strong knowledge of data transfer between key software packages; and
- the ability to maintain high work standards, minimise errors and apply a keen attention to detail, while working co-operatively with team members and valuing diverse perspectives.
