About The Role
We are looking for a sub-contractor to join our team on a short-term, referral basis in the Nepean region – Penrith/Richmond/Katoomba This role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience in single-service disability assessments, supplement their current work, or build valuable industry connections
We provide single-assessment services under the National Panel of Assessors including Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA) and Supported Wage Scheme (SWS) assessments. Workplace Modification Scheme (WMS) assessments may also be available to assessors holding allied health qualifications and registration.
We offer competitive compensation for each assessment/report completion.
This exciting opportunity is designed to complement your primary work role or meet your business needs. Its remarkable adaptability makes it ideal for individuals transitioning back into the workforce amidst parenting commitments or those looking to reduce their work commitments. While referral volume is not guaranteed, we expect it to be modest
Embracing a positive and flexible work culture, assessments are to be completed within specified timeframes, with the scheduling of work dates and times negotiable to ensure suitability for all involved parties.

- OSA – assessments to determine appropriate levels of Disability Employment Service (DES) support and assistance required bt people who have disabilities to maintain their employment
- SWS – workplace-based assessments, measuring productivity and performance of work duties.
- WMS – workplace assessments to identify disability related barriers to employment and provide recommendations for workplace equipment and modifications to enhance to the performance of work roles.

Skills & Experience
- Diploma or higher-level qualification
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the disability sector.
- Autonomous, reliable, motivated, and organised
- Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills with a client-outcome focus
- Understanding of the impact of injury & disability on employment
- Professional assessment and report writing skills.
- Ability to work within strict timeframes.
- Sound skills in computer and IT literacy and security
- Eligible to work in Australia.
- Current driver's licence
- Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes
- Must have a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Subcontractors must hold an ABN (Australian Business Number) and adequate insurance.
