Your opportunity


As the Leasing Analyst, Office, you will provide insights and deliver accurate and timely analysis of Mirvac's key office leasing and performance metrics. To translate and interpret data to enable effective decision making. To assist the National Office Leasing Team with market insights to support stakeholders to make business and investment decisions that deliver greater returns and optimised value to our Investors. Support the broader leasing team in minimising vacancy across the office portfolios.


This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Building collaborative relationships with Mirvac internal stakeholders and our external leasing service providers.
  • Accountable for the leasing reporting function for Office leasing teams, tracking performance and providing analysis to various stakeholders within optimal time frames.
  • Accountable for reporting monthly, quarterly, half yearly data to Owners on key findings from property inspections, deal analysis and demand drivers.
  • Translating leasing statistics (including leasing spreads, deal metrics, market trends etc), into valuable information to drive decision making and support effective business operation, performance.
  • Create and own the leasing data integrity framework and identify improvements to the lease reporting process and the subsequent implementation.
  • Creation and ongoing management of a database that holds leasing evidence and market benchmarking to provide objective/supporting views on deal recommendations.
  • Interpretation of industry research and market intelligence to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • The review of key data input of all leasing information and collation of associated documentation.
  • Accountable for document library of leasing research, offer templates, agencies agreements.
  • Facilitating the monthly leasing update and asset-related marketing materials in conjunction with Mirvac's marketing team.
  • Assisting with collating market deals and lease expiry data for submissions, market presentations and formulating leasing strategies.
  • Assisting with the drafting of submissions and proposals for the leasing team.
  • Driving improvements and maximising efficiency of administration-related procedures.
  • Working collaboratively with national teams to deliver divisional initiatives and contributing to the implementation of clients' asset strategies.
  • Assisting with any projects, or undertaking additional duties as reasonably required.


Your point of difference


  • Demonstrated leasing and/or analytical experience at a real estate organisation or consulting firm, with exposure to commercial leasing is highly desirable
  • Experience in data analytics and financial modelling is imperative
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Economics, Business or Commerce is highly desirable;
  • High level of IT proficiency i.e. Microsoft Office package - advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint and Salesforce, Yardi, Power BI experience is highly desirable;
  • A passion for enhancing the customer experience;
  • A collaborative, professional and empathetic approach to dealing with team members and stakeholders;
  • Good decision making, influencing and presentation skills;
  • Exceptional organisation skills with strong attention to detail;

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leasing and/or analytical experience at a real estate organisation or consulting firm. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Economics, Business and Commerce are highly desirable, as well as exposure to commercial leasing. Prior data analytics or financial modelling experience is essential. A high level of IT proficiency across the Microsoft Suite, Yardi and PowerBI will also be required for this role. You have a passion for enhancing the customer experience and approach stakeholders in a collaborative, professional and empathetic manner. You have good decision making, influencing and presentation skills, excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. A proactive and self-motivated approach to work will see you solve problems and resolve issues as they arise.
