Maas Group is seeking a trade-qualified and experienced Plant Mechanic to support the maintenance and reliability of our earthmoving and civil construction equipment. Based in our Dubbo workshop, you’ll work on a range of machinery including dozers, graders, excavators, dump trucks, and ancillary gear.

As our Plant Mechanic, you’ll deliver quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs—ensuring our equipment remains safe, compliant, and ready to meet the demands of major infrastructure projects across the region.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on civil plant and earthmoving equipment
  • Prioritise and complete scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks.
  • Support lean practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Maintain service records, safety compliance, and clean working standards.
  • Liaise with supervisors, operators, and purchasing team for parts and planning.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and contribute to a safety-first culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Heavy Diesel or Plant Mechanic.
  • Previous experience working on heavy plant and machinery.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, powertrains, undercarriage, and diagnostics.
  • Background in construction, mining, or plant hire highly regarded.
  • Trade Qualification - Cert III in Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanics.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • White Card.
