Are you looking to gain real-world experience in social media marketing while contributing to a child-focused international development organisation?
We’re looking for a proactive, creative and positive intern to support our growing organic social media efforts at ChildFund Australia.
You’ll gain experience in:
- Assisting with the development of engaging organic social media content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Contributing creative ideas for campaigns and regular content posts
- Helping to maintain a content calendar and schedule posts
- Researching trends, hashtags and platform updates to help inform our approach
- Assisting with basic community management (e.g., monitoring comments, supporting engagement)
- Participating in team brainstorms and creative meetings
- Supporting other digital marketing tasks as needed
What skills and experience will you bring?
- You’ll be a student studying marketing, communications, media, or a related field — especially with a focus on social media, digital marketing, or content creation
- You’ll also be creative, efficient, and enthusiastic about making a difference through digital storytelling
This role is an upaid internship, with an ideal commitment of 1 to 2 days per week. We’d love someone to start as soon as possible, with the first few weeks in our office in Surry Hills for onboarding, and thereafter we’re happy for you to work remote, in office or a mixture.
