We’re searching for a seasoned Assistant Manager ready to step into a key leadership role in one of our high-performing venues across the stunning Illawarra region. Whether you're already a Senior Assistant Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager looking for that next challenge, this is your opportunity to take the reins in a fast paced, community focused environment.

Nestled between the escarpment and the sea, the Illawarra offers the best of both worlds – from coastal living and vibrant local culture to easy access to Sydney. It’s the perfect base for someone who’s ready to lead from the front, support a high performing team, and make a real impact.

You’ll need solid hospitality leadership experience, a strong operational background, and the drive to support a busy venue with confidence and capability.

What you’ll do:

• Be a motivational and inspiring leader, develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience every time
• Manage the day to day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering and assisting guests
• Bring your passion for good food and creating moments that matter for our guests
• Be creative - develop and grow the business through your own initiatives

What you’ll need:

• Hospitality/Retail leadership experience, ideally working across food, bars and gaming
• Ability to lead, develop and coach a large, multi-skilled team
• Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets
• Highly developed customer service skills
• Current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications
• An Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gaming for NSW is preferred, not essential
