Our client is seeking a talented, committed & driven lawyer to join their team immediately . You'll work 20-30 hours per week over 3-5 days. They can be flexible with working days & hours. Enjoy the flexibility to work both in-office (Neutral Bay) and remotely from home!
The Principal Solicitor will absolutely mentor and support you as much as you need, but the less you need her, the better. This is mostly an autonomous role.

Your Key Responsibilities
Predominantly manage Conveyancing Files: Handle residential (mostly purchase) files end-to-end across NSW, QLD, WA and VIC with minimal to no supervision.
Some purchases are done using the client's SMSF as the borrower (requiring a corporate trustee of a bare trust as the purchaser on the COS).
Experience providing clients with independent legal advice on their loan documents will also be highly regarded.
Run Estate Planning Matters: Prepare simple & complex Wills, POAs, and Enduring Guardianships with minimal to no supervision & explaining these documents to the client. Prepare trusts, Letters of Administration & Probate with minimal to no supervision.
Support Commercial & other Property Law Clients: Handle purchase/sale of business files in NSW with minimal to no supervision. Review & preparing Commercial or Retail Leases in NSW.
It will be beneficial for you to have a good understanding of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
Administrative work, as needed: Opening matters, taking file notes, preparing Costs Agreements & Invoices to be sent to the client.
Help Us Grow: Build trust with clients, bring in new ones (and earn commissions), and contribute to our growth.
What You'll Bring
1-2+ Years PQE, admitted in NSW. Restricted or unrestricted practising certificate (Unrestricted is preferred).
Experienced in Property Law, Wills & Estates & Commercial Law.
Confident managing conveyancing files across multiple states & wills & estates files from start to finish.
Access to a PC laptop (desirable but not essential).
Bonus: Experience with Smokeball and InfoTrack (desirable but not essential).
A calm, capable & solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
