About the Role
We're seeking experienced Performance Test Leads to drive performance testing strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across critical applications.
You will:
- Lead performance testing across multiple systems and integrations.
- Define test strategies and plans aligned with Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
- Collaborate with business, architecture, and engineering teams.
- Manage and mentor test team members to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Produce clear documentation, test reports, and executive updates.
- Analyse test results to identify issues, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
About You
You bring deep experience in performance testing and a passion for quality engineering. You can translate business goals into performance requirements and lead teams in delivering results. You're also a confident communicator, comfortable presenting technical insights to varied audiences.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in leading performance testing teams in complex environments.
- Strong skills in Web API and mobile app performance testing.
- Proficiency in identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor and uplift team capability.
- Familiarity with automation and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of system development methodologies in government or enterprise settings.
- Influence major government digital platforms used by millions of Australians.
- Long-term contract with stability and extension potential.
- Work with modern tech stacks and performance testing frameworks.
