- Develop and execute test plans to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement automated testing frameworks.
- Validate data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure accurate data transformation and loading.
- Identify, document, and track data quality issues and work with the team to resolve them.
- Perform data validation and verification to support data governance and compliance efforts.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve data testing processes and methodologies.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must prove a suitable level of capability (including demonstrated knowledge, experience & security clearances required) to meet the Company’s requirements.
- Test Automation: Proficient in automating tests for data pipelines and data processing workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Data Validation: Extensive experience in validating data for accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various datasets.
- Performance Testing: Skilled in conducting performance tests on data systems to ensure they are scalable and reliable under different loads.
- Industry Experience: Significant experience in the industry, with a deep understanding of data systems and related technologies.
- Project Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience with data engineering projects, including the development and maintenance of data pipelines.
- Strategic Planning: Define and align test strategy with business and technical goals.
- Resource Management: Optimise use of test environments, tools, and personnel.
- Risk Management: Identify, document, and mitigate testing risks.
- Process Improvement: Enhance testing processes and set corporate standards.
