Role Overview
The Financial Officer is a pivotal member of the Finance and Administration team, performing the regular accounting tasks essential to the good financial order of an organization. This role includes processing a variety of financial transactions and maintain accounting records – including the general ledger, invoices, sales receipts, purchase orders, accounts reconciliation and administration tasks etc.

Role Overview
The Financial Officer is a pivotal member of the Finance and Administration team, performing the regular accounting tasks essential to the good financial order of an organization. This role includes processing a variety of financial transactions and maintain accounting records – including the general ledger, invoices, sales receipts, purchase orders, accounts reconciliation and administration tasks etc.
Core Responsibilities
Supporting Finance and Administration:
- Sending Vendor invoices to SSC (Shared Service Center)
- Reconcile/review Vendor accounts regularly
- Vendor master data management
- Other Accounts Payable issue solving
- Manage Accounts Receivable accounts with SSC
- Actively contact customers to resolve collection issues
- Reconciliation and investigation of payment discrepancies
- Customer master data management
- General ledger reconciliation with SSC
- Month-end journals and review with SSC and Finance team
- Assist with external and internal audits
- Other ad-hoc tasks and project support in Finance
- Support Supply Chain team by maintaining Landed Cost, Intercompany pricing file etc
- Various office admin tasks to support other teams and Finance
Qualified candidates will have:
- Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Ability to provide technical advice, service and support to internal and external customers
- Ability to identify, research and use initiative and creativity to resolve problems
- Computer skills: MS Office, Excel, Accounting software (SAP preferred)
- Fluency and proficiency with English language
- Excellent communication in both verbal and written and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated capacity to work to deadlines with attention to detail
- Flexibility in responding to the overall needs of the business
