About The Role:

We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Operator who will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of parts, tools, materials and equipment essential to our operation. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for all facets of inventory control and coordinating with all departments to ensure timely availability.

A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are required as you will be liaising with all departments across the operation. Please note, this is a site-based position working a 7on/7off rotating day night roster.

What You'll Do:

  • Efficiently receive, store, and distribute mining equipment and materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with procurement and maintenance teams to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of critical parts and supplies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of stock and storage areas to ensure compliance with operational, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous mining industry experience and an understanding of the key processes and procedures.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA would be highly regarded.
  • Hold a High Risk Work (HRW) Licence for the use of a Forklift and/or other material handling equipment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain strong relationships with all Whitehaven stakeholders.
  • A positive attitude, an appetite to learn, and a desire to be part of a collaborative team culture.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role or willingness to pursue this will be held in high regard.
