The Role

Hudson has partnered with a high profile government department seeking an experienced EL1 Program Manager with an understanding of program and grants management. The ideal candidate will have developed program management skills, sound communication and engagement skills, insights into data analysis and visualisation and the ability to communicate data insights.

Duties:

  • Support staff within the team to manage grant agreements.
  • Development of program's procurement and grant documents including contract management through HUB, grant payment system and grant management system.
  • Ongoing program management including review of reporting and deliverables, undertaking grant application processing and assessment and managing grant agreements.
  • Engagement with grant recipients to assist them to comply with their grant agreement obligations,
  • Assisting grant recipients to improve access and inclusion for vulnerable or disadvantaged children and families.
  • Developing and implementing data sharing, reporting, and evaluation arrangements,
  • Communicating and engaging with a range of stakeholders, including community and leadership groups, service providers, schools, and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCOs) Government agencies and with First Nations Peak Bodies to effectively deliver the program.
  • Analysis and interpretation of data to identify issues and provide solutions.

Do You Have?

  • Experience in program management activities including exercising the judgement and decision making associated with providing advice to grantees and program stakeholders.
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively, culturally sensitively and positively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to exercise judgment ability to work independently, and collaboratively as part of a team and understand the impact of the wider environment on own work and team objectives.
  • Experience with or the willingness and ability to gain knowledge and experience of the strengths of, and challenges that Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander communities, including children and families face.

This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading
