About the Role Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the organisation’s workforce and culture. You will lead all facets of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and professional development—while also managing compliance obligations, WHS, policy development, and safeguarding procedures. As a key member of the administration team, you will provide trusted advice to leadership, support staff across various departments, and ensure best practices in human resources and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HR operations, strategy, and cultural initiatives.
- Drive recruitment, performance frameworks, employee relations, and retention strategies.
- Oversee workplace health and safety systems and staff wellbeing programs.
- Maintain compliance-related processes, records, and policy frameworks.
- Advise on industrial relations matters including Fair Work, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Manage employment documentation, leave processes, and staffing budgets.
- Ensure safeguarding practices are embedded across the organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Proven success in a senior HR role—ideally within a values-driven or regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, HR legislation, and industrial awards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage change.
- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with TASS is an advantage.
- A collaborative, proactive, and ethical approach to leadership.
