The Senior Payroll Specialist Will Be Responsible For

To process Payroll and Month End items on time and with 100% accuracy.
The Senior Payroll Specialist Will Be Responsible For
- Setting up of new employees in time and attendance and payroll systems.
- Processing of the payroll for the company in accordance with relevant legislation for Country.
- Calculation and processing of termination payments.
- Processing increases and calculation of backpays.
- Update and maintain the payroll and Time & Attendance systems for new starters, terminations and other employee
- Maintain and improve payroll manuals for each market and ensure they are regularly maintained.
- Provision of payroll report to the Operations team and relevant departments.
- Ensure that all Month End responsibilities, including preparation of journals, and month end reporting as requested and
- Calculate and prepare the month and annual payroll tax and workcover returns.
- Prepare the month end superannuation return.
- Prepare and calculate the quarterly LSL return.
- Payroll enquiries and general admin duties, electronic filing etc.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, agreements, and company policy.
- Manage and maintain the payroll system and time & attendance system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide training and support to staff on payroll procedures and systems.
- Assist with payroll audits and compliance reviews.
- All other duties as directed by the Company.
- A minimum of 3+ years relevant payroll experience
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory requirements
- Excel – Intermediate to Advanced level
- Good mathematical skills
- Windows and other Microsoft office Products
- Retail payroll experience desirable
- Experience with Dayforce Payroll
- Experience using a time and attendance system (UKG preferred)
