Retail Documenter

MECCA Brands is seeking a Retail Documenter to join our incredible New Concepts – Store Design team on a 12-month contract.

The Role You Could Play

As MECCA’s retail documenter, you will be working closely within the store design team to support the retail fit out program. You will be involved in different stages of our exciting projects, from concept, through to detail resolution. You will be integral to the successful functioning of the team and fit out documentation.

Day to day you will be involved in:

• Technical documentation - Preparation and management of detailed documentation
• Revit proficiency – Develop and maintain high quality drawings with accuracy and efficiency. Build model and update as required.
• Coordination and compliance -work closely with team to ensure documents align with MECCA standards, project specifications, building codes including Australian standards
• Project delivery – Support project leaders from conception through to construction, ensuring seamless execution
• Detailing and problem solving -Resolve complex detailing challenges and ensure clarity in design intent
• Quality control – adhere to internal processes, timelines and deadlines maintaining documentation accuracy
  
  

What You Will Bring

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in retail documentation, ideally with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role. You’ll need to be confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key skills and experience include:

• Tertiary qualification in design or architecture preferred
• Strong proficiency in Revit, including setting up models and creating/editing Revit families
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Enscape, and PowerPoint
• The ability to support and guide others in the basic use of Revit
• Experience preparing detailed drawing packages for tender and construction
• A strong understanding of Australian standards and compliances, including BCA and NCC; knowledge of New Zealand standards is a bonus
• A keen eye for design detail and a passion for delivering quality outcomes
• Proven ability to work closely with design teams and internal stakeholders, while also being comfortable working autonomously when needed
• An excellent communicator who thrives in a fast paced and collaborative environment
