Administration Officer

Your new Role:

This position provides a high standard of administrative and organisational support to Maternity Services and incorporates a high level of customer service, demonstrating understanding, empathy, and patience. You will also provide timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff to facilitate service delivery within areas of Maternity Services.

About You:

• Experience in providing administrative support to a team
• Excellent communication skills with experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in resolving enquiries whilst providing a strong customer focus
• Well-developed skills in computer-based technology and using multiple software packages
• The ability to work and engage in a team environment whilst working independently as required
• Strong time management and organisational skills

Beaudesert Hospital:

Beaudesert Hospital is a rural hospital in Queensland's Scenic Rim region with a rich history of healthcare that spans more than 120 years. We provide rural healthcare across a large geographic area south-west of Logan and the Gold Coast with patients who see us coming from Undullah in the north-west right down to the southern Queensland border. We offer services to adults and children, including 24-hour emergency care, maternity, mental, dental, allied health and outpatient clinics, minor surgery, and palliative care.

We're a smaller hospital that offers hands-on training and support to our staff and students. As a secondary teaching hospital, we also have strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland. Our region is known for its scenery and rural charm and patients at the hospital receive care from our team, who are passionate about caring for their community.
