About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and oversee delivery of the Education Justice Initiative, including direct case management provision proportionate to team management responsibilities and allocation of complex or escalated cases.
- Oversee the operation of the Education Justice Initiative with adherence to policy, procedure, and legislation, providing advice on managing potential issues in consultation with internal stakeholders, and ensuring the effective management of corporate information, and communication systems and processes within the regional office.
- Strategically manage and triage regional referrals to the Education Justice Initiative and coordinate, analyse, develop, monitor and review regional case management governance and planning activities to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, legislation, and policy.
- Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Magistrates, Judges, Youth Justice Services, legal representatives, police, multi-agency collaborative groups, and community organisations, providing a departmental perspective and information related to a young person's educational history.
