The Opportunity


Are you a hands-on engineer with experience in medical devices, or eager to develop your skills in the medical technology field? Join Paragon Care Service & Technology, a leader in medical and scientific equipment sales and support across Australia and New Zealand.


We’re expanding and looking for a Workshop Technician / Biomedical Technician to join our Brisbane-based service team. In this role, you’ll ensure our advanced medical equipment operates at its best, provide technical support to clients, and build lasting customer relationships.


We are seeking candidates who possess the following:


  • Completed an approved electronic servicing apprenticeship, Diploma, or Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical or a similar field
  • A clear understanding of relevant medical tests and fault-finding
  • Ability to work within a team and/or individually
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within the service industry
  • The ability to plan and coordinate varying workloads


The successful candidate would be described as:


  • Having a positive, can-do attitude, with great organisation and planning skills
  • A disciplined self-starter with natural problem-solving abilities
  • Experienced in electronics, preferably in the repair and service of medical equipment
  • Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office applications
  • Holding a current driver’s licence
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
