The Oracle Technology Enterprise Architect is a hands-on architect accountable for researching, analysing, architecting, evaluating, supporting sales, and delivering Technology solutions for complex customer requirements.

The roles will encompass Oracle Software (Cloud & On-premises) with a Technology focus including but not limited to:
- Infrastructure: public, private & hybrid cloud deployments; experience moving On-premises workloads to Cloud; Deep understanding of networking, storage, compute, OKE, OVM
- Platform: Database, Integration, Process, API/Functions/Events and other cloud native services, IDAM and Governacne, Analytics, Custom Apps (VBCS, APEX, JET, Forms),
- Applications: Exposure to and/or Experience with Oracle Cloud and On-Premises applications e.g. Heritage Apps (eBS, JDE, PeopleSoft) or SaaS including ERPM, SCM, HCM and CX

Key accountabilities include:
- Exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting the technology, methods, and techniques to design and build non-routine and complex business solutions utilising Oracle Software to meet customer needs and to resolve complex customer issues.
- Demonstrating expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families with ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.
- Influencing customer leadership (external/internal) in adoption of best of breed software solutions and services.
- Presenting and demonstrates services, methodology and solutions to customers.
- Builds and maintains specific industry or product knowledge and proactively identifies solution requirements that can be fulfilled by Oracle Cloud.
- Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions.
- Work with peers across regions and LOBs to develop compelling and commercially attractive service offerings supporting the sale and implementation of Oracle software including Cloud services, as well as supporting partners to deliver successful engagements implementing Oracle software.
- 10-12 years of relevant technical experience including 5+ years of consulting experience.
- Computer Applications Engineer, Database Designer, Systems Architect, Integration Architect
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
- Oracle Software expertise including most of
- OCI IaaS and Infrastructure; Deep understanding of networking, storage, compute, OKE, OVM, Multi Cloud and Hybrid Cloud, Understanding of AWS/Azure and Cloud interoperability
- OCI Platform: Database, Integration, Process, API/Functions/Events and other cloud native services, IDAM and Governance, Analytics, Custom Apps (VBCS, APEX, JET, Forms, Cloud Native)
- Applications: Exposure to and/or Experience with Oracle Cloud and On-Premises applications e.g. Heritage Apps (eBS, JDE, PeopleSoft) or SaaS including ERPM, SCM, HCM and CX
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in TOGAF or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of implementation methodology to design, develop/modify, document, test, implement, install, and support Oracle software applications and systems
- Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions, and to prepare proposals with financial evaluation and costings.
- Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology, and solutions.
- Ability to communicate & discuss solutions with customers around evolving & new technologies, across the Oracle Technology stack

- Research, analyse, architect and design Oracle software solutions that able to meet complex business requirements of customers.
- Lead consulting engagements, evaluate existing systems, associated processes and provide recommendations to improve efficiencies in existing systems.
- Advise customers on the best fit products for their requirements as well as provide recommendations keeping in mind the future business and IT roadmap of the customer.
- Provide inputs in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities using Oracle Technology including assistance with financial evaluation and costings for recommending custom application development, software purchases, implementations, and upgrades.
- Navigate and drive the opportunity development process for our new and existing prospects and client; Craft the solution, estimation & proposal for winning deals
- Define coding and documentation standards/templates, best practice guidelines to be followed by the project teams.
- Design and build high quality custom software/solution leveraging Oracle Cloud Technology as per customer requirements.
- Review Testing results of software/solution and ensure that software/solution meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Manage issues between Oracle and customers to achieve positive outcome.
- Support program/project manager to ensure success of each engagement both financially and from a customer satisfaction viewpoint.
- Establish strong, lasting, and collaborative relationships with existing accounts/customers as well as internal Oracle Lines of Businesses (LOBs). Represent Oracle Consulting & lead programs with Oracle LOBs through the joint pursuits.
- Perform assessment, analysis, advisory & consulting services for customer’s systems and provide recommendation and/or help customers draft future roadmaps including proposals with financial evaluation and costings for recommending custom application design & development, software purchases, implementation, and upgrades leveraging Oracle Cloud/On-premise Technologies.
- Work as a key member of a Sales squad presenting Oracle Solutions and Oracle Consulting Services to prospective and existing customers, as well as identifying customer challenges and capability gaps which Oracle Consulting can provide a solution or service to address.
- Work as part of Oracle Consulting project teams on complex engagements for deploying optimized enterprise software solutions to fulfil Customer’s Business requirement/process through the implementation lifecycle comprising design, development, documentation, testing & defect resolution, installations, and support.
- Work withing the Oracle Consulting project teams during development of software/solution, provide guidance for complex code/segments/modules development, ensure team follows defined coding standards.
- Review/prepare documentation and ensure software/solution documentation qualifies Oracle Consulting documentation standards
- Participates in delivery testing cycles and ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met and bugs identified are resolved before customer delivery
- Help define/document standard operating procedures for software/solution use post project Go-Live.
- Lead and grow the capability for Oracle Consulting by mentoring & coaching team members on Customer engagement and on Oracle products.
