Job Description
Downer Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) is proud to be a leading provider of Rollingstock assets and management in Australia. We are now looking for a Procurement Manager to join our highly skilled, Project & Contract Delivery team.
Reporting directly to the Delivery Procurement Manager, you will be responsible in providing successful delivery of Procurement and Contract Management services for their assigned portfolio within Rail and Transit Systems.

About You
- TAFE certificate in Purchasing and Supply or Project Management
- Project Procurement within a construction, services or manufacturing environment. Experience in Rail Industry highly desirable
- Experience in managing contractual arrangements on transport or infrastructure projects
- Experience with structured Risk Management Processes
- Experience with Contract / Performance Management
- Understanding of Procurement best practice
- Understanding of Supply Chain best practice (International and Domestic Logistics / Warehouse and Inventory Management)
- Exceptional contract management skills, with proven ability to manage and negotiate within a complex environment
- Strong Warranty Management, Defect Management and New Vehicle Acceptance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook/Power BI).
