Job Description
What’s the role?
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming our customers to Bank of Melbourne and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide them with tailored banking solutions. You will utilise your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in-person and over the phone – and referring them on to our specialised Banking teams when necessary. This is a rewarding role which will see your dedication and expertise empower customers to make the most of their money, each and every day!
This is a full-time, branch-based role and the hours are across and inclusive of Monday to Friday.

What do I need?
- Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing / phone-based role
- Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed whilst managing challenging situations
- Comfortable in working towards sales / referral targets and calling customers over the phone
- Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy
- An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people!
- The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
