Wood is seeking expressions of interest for Senior Project Engineers & Project Engineers to join our team to support operations based in Gladstone.

Responsibilities

Scope of Work

• Delivering project scope to budget and schedule requirements, while maintaining excellent safety and quality performance
• Manage changes through a WOOD change management process, including PCR’s, RFI’s and TQ’s and timely resolution of queries
• Actively manage sub-contractors, Engineering and Site resources
• Applicable role accountabilities to level of experience
• Preparation and Reporting of daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Liaising with multi-discipline engineering team to ensure design delivery.
• Attending meetings with client, implementation contractors and suppliers
• Reporting on project progress and KPIs
• Identifying key areas of risk for the project and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Quality Assurance – work within the provisions and guidelines in line with Wood's Quality Assurance systems
  
  

Qualifications

Expected

• Must be degree qualified with proven experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas sector or Mining/Mineral
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver to deadlines
• Experience may include conceptual, FEED, detailed design, and site construction experience
• Experience may be in design, operation, construction/commissioning and general engineering of oil and gas, metals/mining plant facilities
• Proven capabilities in managing and motivating all disciplines to deliver projects on schedule and budget
• Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with disciplines, project managers, and clients’ representatives
• Sound understanding of Planning and Cost Control (with the support of a Project Controls team)
