Job Description
- To increase the penetration of Automotive Aftermarket Products and exceed the sales forecast for the products in your territory.
- To achieve annual sales operating plans.
- To drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars
- To identify and prioritize market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products – (May include Marine & Commercial Vehicle)
- Prepare and execute annual sales plan.
- Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level
- Support the execution of plans through AAD distribution network.
- To take responsibility for other products/projects as required.
- To spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer
- Responsibility for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight travel.
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
- Cert III - Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician Qualification preferred
- Minimum 2 years in a professional Sales role. Experience in an Industrial Sales role preferred
- Knowledge of Industrial products or terminology an advantage
- Strong selling and key account management skills
- High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & PowerPoint required
- Strong business acumen and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
- High attention to details
- Confident manner with internal team and external customers
- Strong problem solving ability & resourcefully innovative in order to fulfil customers’ requirements
- Strong and consistent recent sales results
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred, but the passion for development of this ability essential
