The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Supply Planning Manager, the role of Supply Planner sits within CSR's Central Planning Division. This area of the business is part of an exciting transformation program. The role specifically supports the supply planning for one of Australia's most recognised building products.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop production rough cut capacity plans and detailed weekly production plans based on servicing demand and inventory forecast requirements.
  • Manage the inventory planning and replenishment process for materials by exception to meet service level KPI's, availability and stock holding.
  • Identify major risks and model impacts of alternative supply scenarios, to test business unit service and cost sensitivities.
  • Work with sites to ensure data is maintained for accurate production and inventory planning. Including sourcing, production rates, cycles, routings and capacity parameters to optimise production planning.
  • Liaise with Site Managers, Network planners, Material & Production Schedulers to resolve supply issues and generate feasible production plans.
  • Liaise with Material Schedulers to review key planning parameters such as safety stock levels, lead times, rounding rules and site capacity constraints.
  • Develop buying plans and forecasts for suppliers to manufacture and ship against.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years professional experience in supply chain planning, within a manufacturing organisation.
  • Previous experience in time series production planning and first principal inventory management methods.
  • Exposure to S&OP / IBP environment.
  • Numerate and systems literate with the ability to manage large amounts of data analysis.
  • SAP and Power BI are highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in Advanced Planning Systems.
  • Good planning and organising skills, combined with strong attention to detail.
  • A team player, able to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated strength in networking and influencing skills.
