About The Role
As a Human Resources Specialist (HRS), you will play a critical role in delivering a comprehensive suite of contemporary HR services to designated customer areas and the whole of the business. This role focuses on providing a seamless end-to-end employee experience and contributing to the successful implementation of the company’s HR Business Plan.
Additionally, as part of the role, you will be overseeing Union management and engagement, by building strong professional relationships with Unions and essentially being the first port of call to resolve disputes / issues arising.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate the delivery of a comprehensive suite of HR services across sites.
- Provide expert advisory services on HR, IR, and employment matters to employees and leaders.
- Lead and manage grievance/dispute resolution, disciplinary, and performance management processes, including complex case management.
- Optimise HR capability within departments through training, auditing, and coaching.
- Contribute to HR improvement projects and the completion of the HR Business Plan and calendar.
- Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment, and selection processes.
- Provide comprehensive Industrial Relations advice, including EA, legislative, and policy interpretation.
- Support effective engagement with external stakeholders such as unions.
- Ensure compliance with HR governance requirements, including audits and reporting.
- Significant experience delivering comprehensive HR/IR services in a complex environment.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee matters, including case management.
- Experience interpreting industrial instruments and employment legislation.
