The successful candidate will provide sound customer service by applying communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively with others under direction.

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide timely support to clients, with support from supervisor, using eHealth incident management processes to ensure agreed Service Levels are maintained.
  • Undertake activities identified to deliver the WSR program including run up, configuration, deployment and installation of devices as per documented work instructions and under supervision.
  • Provide basic ad-hoc support (on-site and remote) to Queensland Health sites as required under direction.
  • Assist with maintaining asset management activities by following defined work processes.

Key Capabilities, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to deliver quality ICT support to clients, with an emphasis on prioritising tasks under supervision.
  • Ability to gain competence to identify and resolve minor information technology related problems within defined Service Level Agreements.
  • Interpersonal skills and personal qualities that facilitate the development of good working relationships and enhance the provision of quality client service in a team environment.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills to follow system documentation and work instructions.
  • Ability to learn ServiceNow and ITIL Service Management processes (primarily request / CMDB / asset management).

Specific Working Conditions:

  • It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B.
  • Reasonable travel as negotiated may be a requirement of this position.
  • Provide support to other localities and teams as directed by the Project Lead or DPT Manager's.
  • An open 'C' class driver's licence is desirable.
