About the Role

As a Customer Service Trainee, you’ll undertake studies towards a Certificate III in Business, including elective choices in Sales and Customer Engagement. In this position, you will contribute positively to promoting IRT within the community and assisting our clients while providing excellent customer service. This position is based between IRT Market Street and working from home. The role is full-time working Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm and is on a 1 year fixed term with the possibility of turning permanent on completion.

Your work may include:

  • Acquire new customers by qualifying leads and providing information relating to our product.
  • Use communication skills to answer enquiries/re-direct calls.
  • General office administration duties (emails, website correspondence, etc.).
  • Conduct outbound survey calls to current and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate customer information for respite bookings and referrals to sales consultants.
  • Arrange for the dispatch of information packages, brochures, etc.
  • Maintain the database and client files with relevant documentation.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • A willingness to undertake studies towards a Certificate III in Business (not completed Cert III in Business previously).
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident.
  • A genuine interest in customer service and sales.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to prioritise administrative and telephone tasks.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with the range of Microsoft Office suite of products.
