About The Role
In this role you will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, cafeteria, and functions. You will ensure food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and assist with controlling daily recipes and ingredients in the cooking process for our patients.

About The Role
In this role you will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, cafeteria, and functions. You will ensure food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and assist with controlling daily recipes and ingredients in the cooking process for our patients.
The duties include but are not limited to;
- Assist cold larder, main hot meal section, and staff meals.
- Preparation & cooking of meals following strict recipes.
- Understanding patient dietary requirements
- Ensuring a clean environment is maintained
- Wash & clean downs of equipment
- Daily completion of food and safety log sheets
- Compliance with food safety & HACCP
- Responsible for ordering stock & supplies daily
- Receiving deliveries and assisting with stock rotation.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following;
- Certificate in Commercial Cooking
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef
- Current Food & Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Ability to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirements
- Must understand allergy management practices.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse workplace
- Previous healthcare setting experience will be highly regarded.
- Willing to work within a rotating roster -mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

- Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
