We are seeking an experienced Technical Extension Manager to lead our team across the ANZ region, ensuring the effective delivery of extension programs and fostering best practices in the industry.
Position Summary
As the Technical Extension Manager, you will be responsible for strategic coordination, leadership, and oversight of technical extension initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders, research institutions, and internal teams to ensure knowledge dissemination and adoption of best practices across the industry.
The Role
Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four Technical Extension Specialists across ANZ.
Set performance expectations and allocate tasks to align with regional objectives.
Support professional development and provide technical guidance.
Program Coordination & Implementation
Oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of technical extension programs.Ensure high-quality and consistent delivery of extension services.Develop and refine technical resources, tools, and training materials.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
Engage with industry bodies, research institutions, and regulatory stakeholders.
Represent FMC at industry forums, conferences, and strategic discussions.
Strengthen internal collaboration and external partnerships.
Technical Support & Advisory Services
Oversees data collection, analysis, and reporting for informed decision-making.
Manage customer complaints, ensuring thorough investigation and resolution.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
Contribute to long-term extension strategy development.
Monitor KPIs and prepare detailed reports on program impact.
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
The Candidate
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Poses 5-7 years of experience in technical extension, advisory services, or a similar role.
Experience managing teams across multiple locations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in digital tools for program management and data analysis.
Strong leadership and people management experience, including managing remote teams.
Deep understanding of technical extension methodologies and industry best practices.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Proven ability to design and implement effective extension programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data interpretation.
Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.
Willingness to travel across the ANZ region as required.
Valid driver’s license and flexibility to work based on operational needs.
