Job Description
- Assisting with Accounts Payable & Accounts receivable, debt collection, and follow-ups as needed
- Helping manage daily cash receipts, including reconciling cash, cheques, and foreign currency transactions
- Supporting the month-end closing process by preparing account reconciliations and assisting with journal entries
- Maintaining accurate records of cash floats and assisting with monthly cash audits
- Providing general support to the Finance team with ad hoc tasks and compliance requirements
- Previous experience in Finance Administration or related position, preferably in the Hospitality industry
- Experience with Opera and SUN Systems viewed favourably
- Understanding and basic knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently or with a team and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment
- Time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Service-oriented with a meticulous eye for detail
- You must have unlimited work rights in Australia
