About The Role
In this role you will:
- Lead, supervise, and guide Business Support Officers in the Customer Services team.
- Apply knowledge of policies and procedures to perform Authorised Receipting Officer duties.
- Coordinate rostering, leave planning, timesheets, and performance management for Customer Services, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Audit asset registers, vehicle fleet, and physical resources under the Manager's supervision, following policies and legislation.
- Provide written and verbal advice to internal and external clients and handle general enquiries for DNRMMRRD.
- Train and support team members on departmental systems, processes, and procedures related to Customer Services.
- Offer administrative and financial support to the business unit and agency centre, utilising Microsoft products and departmental systems.
- Contribute to business improvements, particularly in developing and maintaining consistent Business Support processes across the State.
- Provide data from departmental systems and registers to support stakeholder requests.
- Strong communicator and problem-solver with the ability to manage complex projects and lead diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Possession of a current C class driver's licence is desirable to assist with the management of fleet vehicles, including but not limited to the delivery of vehicles for servicing, and to undertake the regular banking.
- Travel away from the centre may be required. This may involve travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods.
