About the Opportunity
We are seeking two proactive Supply Officers to join our purchasing team, who are based at the loading dock to receive goods for the resort.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient supply and distribution of general goods, food, and beverage products across all resort departments. In a busy and fast paced environment, your key responsibilities for the role include:
- Place and process orders to fill requisitions and deliver goods to resort departments
- Maintain records, invoices and credits received, using the inventory management system
- Maintain stock levels, rotating and storage of food, beverage and general goods
- Manage receipt of deliveries and assist with the traffic flow, hazards or defects in the loading dock
- Perform safe work practices and operate a forklift to unload & move stock
- Communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, perform duties in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner
These permanent part-time positions are a minimum 3 days or 20+ hours per week, between 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday. The required rostered days of work are A. Monday, Tuesday & Friday or B. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Flexibility to increase hours on other days, during the busy weeks or to cover leave, would be an advantage.
What you'll need to be successful
- Hospitality experience in hotel or resort environment, desirable
- Experience in purchasing, stock control systems, stock ordering, delivery, recording, handling and storage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Forklift Licence & experience, desirable
- Knowledge of stocktaking procedures, Queensland Food Legislation and HACCP
- Work effectively in a team environment, along with time management, problem solving and attention to detail skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills understanding data and financial information
- The ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive manual tasks safely
