Elevate Your Career as an HSEQ Advisor!

Are you ready to step up from an HSEQ coordinator, or are you an experienced advisor looking for a change?

In this role, you will promote and ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) across the live construction projects. This role has developed due to the expansion of the business and a need for extra support.

You will directly report to the business's HSEQ Manager, who will look to you to be their eyes and ears out on sites. Based on numerous factors, you will be allocated a selection of live projects to assist with.

The business has over a decade of delivering unique, innovative, and often complex projects across multiple industry sectors, such as Education, Commercial, Sports and Recreation, Community, Aged Care, Health, Residential, and Fit-out.

As an HSEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining HSEQ policies and procedures. Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance. Providing training and support to staff on HSEQ standards. Collaborating with project teams to foster a culture of safety and quality. This is key as the company is really looking for an individual who the site teams respond to and listen to and someone who also delivers on the company's policies. Policing and being polarising is not the best way to sell safety.

You will join a very progressive and supportive company with an approachable leadership team. They offer personalised onboarding, including a ‘buddy’ system to facilitate your transition into the company. You will be mentored directly by the HSEQ Manager.

Experience a vibrant company culture with access to a modern gym, team events, bi-annual performance reviews, group training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities. The business also offers a progressive women's health policy and mental health days for all employees.

The team work hard to deliver projects, and so the Directors make sure that everyone gets together to celebrate as a team.

You will need to have a minimum of a Cert IV in OHS and experience in commercial construction, specifically new builds. Candidates with a degree or diploma are preferred. However, extensive experience in commercial construction is paramount.

The salary package is up to $135k, including super, plus a fuel card and E-tag for the right candidate.
