Salvos Stores are looking for a Permanent full-time Stores Area Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Manager at Carole Park, QLD.
As an Area Manager you will inspire and nurture your team of passionate and dedicated Store Managers, all focused on delivering great social, environmental and business outcomes for their store. Your leadership will ensure Salvos Stores provides an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers, ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided every day, in every interaction
- Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided every day, in every interaction
- Reading, analyzing and interpreting business reports to deliver on all business targets and outcomes
- Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandising standards
- Role-modeling a 'safety first' culture in our stores
- Opening new stores, and overseeing all refurbishments
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to
About You
To be successful in this role you must possess excellent people leadership and multi-site retail management abilities. You will be an outstanding written and verbal communicator, with demonstrated ability to inspire people through change. You will be a high energy, hands-on individual and will bring your proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service to the role.
As someone known for your integrity, you will be comfortable aligning to The Salvation Army Mission and Values. While not essential, demonstrated experience in improving environmental sustainability outcomes would be highly regarded.
Drivers Licence required.
