You will be at the forefront of driving business success, working closely with the Senior Media Manager to lead the day-to-day and operations for various News Corp brands. Your passion for understanding audience behaviour and your offline and online planning and optimisations will play a pivotal role in taking our media team to new heights.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop media strategies and plans for both digital and offline channels (social, video, display, audio, TV, radio, OOH and print). This includes taking marketing briefs, interrogating data to draw meaningful insights and translating this into media recommendations to deliver on business objectives.
- Media buying & trading: You will oversee and execute buying of media across all channels, ensuring effective campaign execution and delivery.
- Financial management: Manage media procurement processes for paid media, including budget control, contract management, account queries, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and cost-efficiency.
- Communication and stakeholder management: Regular communication with relevant marketing, media and operational stakeholders is vital. You will maintain regular stakeholder communications, respond to business requests, and seek feedback to ensure expectations are met.
- Presentation & Storytelling: Confidently present media recommendations, campaign results, and strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders. Effectively communicate complex data in a clear and compelling way to drive decision-making.
- Reporting and analytics: Accurate and timely reporting of relevant metrics is essential. You will provide reports on various metrics, always seeking out insights and performance improvement recommendations based on data analysis.
- Team management: Responsible for day to day management and training to ensure quality control of output and development of the team.
- 4+ years of media agency experience in planning and buying across both offline (TV, radio, print, OOH) and digital (social, display, video, audio, programmatic) channels.
- Proficient in media planning tools (e.g. Roy Morgan, Fusion, Spectra, Move) and digital platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager).
- Management experience, including supporting team leadership, assisting with day-to-day operations, and ensuring quality control of outputs.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing principles with hands-on experience in delivering integrated campaigns.
- Excellent numeric, budget management, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns and meeting tight deadlines.
- A team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident in presenting information clearly and concisely.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement and delivering high-quality results.
- Adaptable and open to change, have a curious mind and proactive mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
