We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Specialist to join our Finance team in Mascot, Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential clients, managing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

What will you be doing?

  • Conduct high volume collection calls to ensure timely payments and improve accounts receivable aging
  • Raise customer disputes in salesforce ticketing system
  • Identify and escalate accounts where needed
  • Monitor and track overdue accounts, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up to ensure collections target
  • Support the banking team by investigating and resolving unallocated cash and parked payments daily including remittance requests for allocation
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders on any corrective action required impacting collections and account management
  • Ability to meet KPI targets
  • Customer account reconciliations

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with high volume collections
  • Enthusiastic and motivated team player focused on growth and driving a constructive culture
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, commercial environment
  • Prior experience in using SAP (preferred) and Intermediate MS Excel
  • Excellent time management skills
