We are The Westport Club, the greatest Club on the mid-North Coast, offering a diverse range of facilities. Our waterfront location is an idyllic playground offering a casual dining restaurant, cafe, boutique cocktail and whiskey bar, gaming, Keno, promotions and events.


About the Role

This position seeks an experienced candidate who has a humanistic-encouraging approach to customer service. Working with each destination team, you will provide support and customer service relating to all ICT functions, software and hardware.

 

Reporting to the Group ICT Manager, this role has loads of variety including:

  • Providing level 1-3 support via our ICT ticketing system
  • Configure, deploy and support all required hardware and software applications in use across all sites
  • Mail and SMTP management, specifically O365
  • Virtual environments, concept and administration (VMWare & Hyper-V)
  • Teams and SharePoint support and administration
  • Multi-site connectivity
  • POS Support
  • Basic System Administration i.e. Backups, patching, stability and upgrades
  • The provision of afterhours support on a rotating roster

 

What Success looks like

To fulfil this role, you must possess at least 5 years’ experience in an ICT support role. You will need to be an organised member of the team with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and have a strong work ethic. In addition, this role requires working with teams at different destinations so a positive and flexible attitude is a must. 

 

Additionally, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Level 1-3 ICT support role
  • Relevant tertiary education in ICT
  • Experience troubleshooting Application services, Infrastructure end to end.
  • Supporting LAN’s, PC operating systems and desktop software.
  • Excellent working knowledge of M365, Exchange administration, LAN Technologies, Microsoft
  • Experience with technologies, VMware (virtual environments), MS OS’s (server, desktop), MacOs, IOS and android
  • Configuring, Deploy & support a wide variety of hardware and software applications across multiple sites and industry types including but not limited to desktops, laptops, servers etc
