Human Resource Operations Manager

About the role

• Take charge of and inspire a dynamic team of 5-6 individuals
• Lead an impactful HR transformation project, revamping processes and implementing the innovative Dayforce system
• Champion an exceptional people experience
• Oversee the policy framework, budget, and HR business management
• Ensure adherence to employment legislation and industrial regulations
• Manage risk and compliance activities effectively
• Guarantee accurate and timely payment for all employees
• Strive for and deliver operational excellence.

About you

• Are you passionate about driving change and transforming operations? We seek someone with extensive experience in HR across the full employee lifecycle who can lead operational teams to new heights
• Do you have a knack for streamlining processes and implementing effective payroll systems? Your significant HR Operations and payroll experience will be pivotal in our transformation journey
• Have you led major HR systems implementations and process designs? We need your skills to develop and refine our systems, bringing innovation and efficiency to our operations
• Do you excel in reporting, analysis, and business presentations? Your strong skills in these areas will help us make data-driven decisions and present our initiatives with impact
• Do you have a high level of interpersonal and problem-resolution skills? Your ability to connect with others and resolve issues will be key to our success
• Do you stay up to date with the latest HR tech trends and have strong digital literacy? Your tech-savvy approach will drive our HR innovations forward
• Have you led significant HR systems implementations, ideally Dayforce? Your leadership in this area will be instrumental in our operational transformation.

Our Head Office located in Wollongong is a fresh, newly constructed state of the art building with great amenities and close to shops, cafes and the beach. You’ll need to attend the office to get to know your team and build relationships, but frequency will be dependent on where you live and how you build the operational rhythm with your team.
