Purpose of the role
To train as an Construction equipment maintenance mechanic apprentice to Level 2 standard, to undertake a structured
training program of academic study and workshop and on -Site work in order to gain the required skills, knowledge and
behaviours to carry out planned maintenance and inspection duties and to keep accurate records in accordance with
management requirements, to be qualified in highlighting and resolve potential problems in order to maximise plant
availability and eliminate unplanned downtime.

Key Accountabilities
- To maintain and inspect plant machinery, reporting any issues.
- To report on working areas regarding Health & Safety and Environmental.
- To liaise with other Contracting departments to ensure the smooth running of the process.
- To keep working areas in a clean and safe condition.
- To consider and report to management any improvements that will be beneficial to the works.
- To perform any other relevant duties as requested by Management.
