Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a proactive and team-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Roads & Civil Infrastructure Team in Orange.

Our team specialises in planning, designing, and building civil infrastructure for a diverse range of clients, tackling a wide array of city-shaping projects, urban renewal, key infrastructure and major development works.

You'll have a rare chance to make your impact on small and large-scale projects of varying complexity in the local region, delivering exceptional civil engineering solutions that go beyond the ordinary. Its also a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with our local client base in Orange, while being a valued and supported contributor to our global team.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Working to ensure the successful delivery of projects that include roads, car parks, earthworks, cycleways, access tracks, culverts, and stormwater drainage and management solutions.
  • Managing timelines, budgets, and resources while fostering strong client relationships, and building upon your project management skills.
  • Overseeing projects from planning to completion, ensuring they meet scope, time, and budget requirements.
  • Conducting design and analysis and writing detailed reports and proposals.
  • Interacting with local, state, and federal government clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

What you will bring to the team:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3 – 10 years of relevant practical experience in civil infrastructure projects with:
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools, with a desire to improve further, demonstrating strong technical skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly and work well in a team, showcasing excellent communication skills.
  • A cooperative and flexible approach to working with colleagues and clients, being a team player.
