Inbound Sales Team Manager (SME Sales)
LegalVision

LegalVision is a market disruptor in the commercial legal services industry. Our innovative membership-based business model and custom-built technology allow our lawyers to provide a faster, higher quality and more cost-effective client experience. LegalVision is a leader in delivering legal services in Australia and has assisted more than 150,000 businesses across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. We have been named a LinkedIn Top Startup, one of Lawyers Weekly’s Top 25 Attraction Firms, and Law Firm of the Year at the Australasian Law Awards on multiple occasions.
To support our ambitious growth plans and champion our sales reps to do their best work, we’re looking for a highly motivated Inbound Sales Manager to join our team. This is a full-time permanent role based in our Surry Hills office.
The Opportunity
As LegalVision’s Inbound Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end sales lifecycle of inbound leads, from point of contact through to conversion. We acquire the majority of our inbound leads through digital marketing, our target market being small and medium sized businesses that require legal support, ideally on a recurring basis. Inbound leads are triaged, qualified and booked in for discovery meetings by our team of SDRs, led by an SDR Team Lead. Discovery meetings are run by ~10 sales consultants responsible for turning these qualified leads into members, while maintaining our industry leading client experience.
You will work with the Head of Growth to optimise the team’s performance and processes to ensure we hit our ambitious but achievable targets, all the while providing an engaging and rewarding work environment for each team member.
Key Responsibilities
- KPI Management - monitor our key funnel leading indicators and pipeline management, proactively take daily action to hit and exceed targets. Analyse live sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Team Development and Accountability - review, coach, support and drive the performance of team members to ensure they do their best work, and are clear on all improvement and development opportunities. Maintain a structured performance review process and touch points with in-office and remote team members.
- Recruitment and Training - hire, induct and train new sales team members to minimise ramp period, and ensure all existing team members are constantly learning and improving. Identify universal skill gaps and implement targeted training programs.
- Marketing, Product and Retention Feedback - liaise with the Marketing, Legal and Client Success teams to ensure our marketing and sales strategy is in line with our delivery and client retention goals, and that we’re always maintaining an exceptional client experience.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience - You have a minimum of 3 years B2B sales team management experience, in addition to solid experience as a consultative high-ticket BDM/AE sales professional. Legal sales experience is not required, but professional services sales experience is highly regarded.
- Ability to drive high performance - you own sales targets, love to win and prioritise your time to generate the best returns. You can turn an underachiever into a star and are able to effectively manage individual and team performance.
- You live and breathe sales - you lead by example and are constantly testing and learning to capture the best results from your team. You know how to foster a high performance, positive team culture - encouraging excellence and leaving no room for ‘traditional sales’ toxicity.
- Commitment to creating incredible experiences - going above and beyond is second nature to you. You take ownership over the sales process, difficult situations and escalations.
- A Go Getter - You’re a self starter and you won’t stop until your team is smashing it. You’re a doer at your core and if something needs to get done (jumping on a follow up to close a deal or running your own meetings to cover team leave), you’re all over it.
The Perks
- A team based commission incentive structure with accelerators for high performance.
- Talented and energetic teammates across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
- Up to 25 days annual leave per year, plus paid birthday leave, volunteering leave, and parental leave.
- Annual budget to spend on external learning and development.
- Regular team socials, drinks and team lunches.
- Vibrant office environment in Surry Hills, super close to Central Station.
